Vandals Defeat Spokane, 11-5;
Tie for Third

LEWISTON, Idaho, April 8—The University of Idaho was in charge all the way in defeating the Spokane Indians of the Western International league 11-5 Friday.
The loss left Spokane in the cellar of the Banana Belt league. Idaho jumped into a tie for third with the Great Falls Selectrics of the Pioneer circuit.
The Vandals counted twice in the first inning and cemented the victory in the fourth with six more tallies.
Righthander Andy Aoki of Spokane brought most of the trouble on the Indians by walking four in succession in that frame and he was touched for two hits. His relief in the sixth, Bob Miller, allowed a double which scored the final three runs.
