TACOMA, Aug. 13—The rampant Tacoma Tigers extended their longest winning streak of the current Western International league season to nine in a row by sweeping a double-header with the Spokane Indians here, 5-4 and 6-5.
Dick Greco was the star of the seven-inning finale, nipping Spokane runners at the plate with perfect tosses from right field and driving home Sol Israel with the winning run. Bob Kerrigan was credited with his 19th win against six defeats off a one-inning stint in the finales.
